2017 Jeep Cherokee Trim Levels:

Since the 2017 Jeep Cherokee offers eight different trim levels, we’re only focusing on four of the trims for this quick overview. We’ve picked out four that run the gamut from a step above the entry level trim to the very top of the tree, but don’t forget to investigate the others if this little rundown piques your interest:

  • 2017 Jeep Cherokee Sport Altitude 4x4: This is the second trim, one up from the entry-level ‘Sport’ trim. It’s available as a 4x2 or 4x4 setup, but for this overview, we’re focusing on the utterly capable 4x4 model. You’ll start with a 2.4-liter inline-four MultiAir® Engine, which features throughout the trims until the top-tier Overland, however there is an available 2.4-liter inline-four PZEV M-Air engine and an optional 3.2-liter V6—optional, of course, everywhere but the Overland trim. In addition to its powerplant, the Sport Altitude trim also offers you features like standard Jeep Cargo Management System, and a standard Tire Pressure Monitoring System, which also features throughout the trim tree.
  • 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk® 4x4: When it comes to Trail Rated® capability, the 2017 Cherokee Trailhawk® comes factory-ready to conquer, offering standard skid plates, standard front tow hooks, and standard 4x4 Jeep Active Drive II, Jeep Active Drive Lock, and Selec-Speed™ Drive Lock, among plenty of other features that deliver awesome off-road prowess straight from the box.
  • 2017 Jeep Cherokee High Altitude 4x4: This trim is a little more upscale that the ones that preceed it, offering standard leather-trimmed bucket seats, standard humidity sensors so you can better plan for those adventures, and an optional wireless charging pad so you can stay connected, even off the beaten path.
  • 2017 Jeep Cherokee Overland 4x4: This is the top trim level and you certainly won’t forget it thanks to standard premium leather-trimmed bucket seats, a leather-wrapped instrument panel, a standard 9-speaker audio system with subwoofer and 8.4-inch touchscreen display, and standard GPS navigation.
