Of course, there’s a fair bit of complexity still to follow once you’ve decided on the 1500. The model has a whopping ten different trim levels, not to mention the several powertrain, cab, and package options available for each. The good news is that there’s sure to be one that fits your preferences, needs, and driving habits perfectly, and that’s why the team at Preferred CDJR has put together this trim level guide to help you get started. Once you're ready, we’re standing by, and can’t wait to show you a Ram 1500 up close!

2026 Ram 1500 Trim Levels

Ram 1500 Tradesman

Three different cab configurations available

Ram 1500 Tradesman (4WD or 2WD)

Key Features

  • Starting at $42,045 MSRP*
  • 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine
  • Uconnect® 5 with an 8.4-inch touchscreen and complete personalization options
  • Adaptive cruise control with stop and go
  • Blind spot monitoring with rear cross path and trailer detection
  • Class IV receiver hitch

If all you need from the Ram 1500 is a trusted and reliable work partner, then the Tradesman trim level might be what you’re after. It’s a no-frills machine that nevertheless packs in plenty of capability for the tasks at hand, including a standard V6 engine that drives 305 horsepower (though there are two upgrades available, if needed, including a 3.0L Twin Turbo with 420 horsepower). Thanks to that muscle, the Tradesman offers a maximum towing capacity of 7,660 pounds and 2,360 pounds of payload capacity. Three different cab configurations ensure that you’ll have exactly what you need to get your crew to the site.

Ram 1500 Express

Three different cab configurations available

Ram 1500 Express (4WD or 2WD)

Key Features

  • Starting at $44,150 MSRP*
  • Available Uconnect® 5 NAV with a 12-inch touchscreen
  • Remote vehicle start
  • Safety features including electronic roll mitigation, active lane management, and pedestrian detection with emergency braking
  • Largest-in-class 14.9-inch brake rotors
  • Available Black Express Edition

Ram added the Express-level trim for 2026, providing a value-centered entry point to the Ram 1500 lineup. However, while it might be that for some, for others, it’s a blank slate for customization and upgrades. Like the Tradesman, the Express has three available engine options, and it also opens the availability of a 12-inch touchscreen with Uconnect® 5 NAV, the same screen and infotainment system found on some of the Ram 1500’s top trims. The available Black Express Edition can add a premium feel to the exterior, including a sport performance hood, black aluminum wheels, and black accenting.

Ram 1500 Big Horn

Three different cab configurations available

Ram 1500 Big Horn (4WD or 2WD)

Key Features

  • Starting at $47,280 MSRP*
  • Five selectable drive modes (Auto, Tow, Snow, Sport, and Off-Road)

  • Available Sport Package and Night Edition Package

If the Ram 1500 Big Horn feels like an ideal intersection of capability and value to you, you’re not alone. It’s the best selling of the model’s ten trim levels, which is no accident given that it’s where many of the high-end comfort features make their first appearance. Some of those include a dual-pane panoramic sunroof in crew cab configurations, heating and power adjustment on the front seats, and power-folding, auto-dimming mirrors, and an air suspension system that helps keep your ride buttery-smooth. Appearance packages like the Night Edition Package and Sport Package can add premium details as well.

Ram 1500 Warlock

Ram 1500 Warlock (4WD only)

Key Features

  • Starting at $52,865 MSRP*
  • Bilstein® front and rear shocks
  • 1-inch raised ride height with underbody skid plates
  • Elocker® rear axle and Selec-Speed® control
  • 18-inch black aluminum wheels with 33-inch all-terrain tires
  • LED headlamps and fog lamps

Trailheads and those who enjoy life off of the beaten path might enjoy the Ram 1500 Warlock, which serves as a starting point for the model’s off-roading chops. Naturally, it’s the first trim level offered exclusively with a four-wheel drive powertrain, with any of its three engine options providing enough oomph to take on obstacles. Some of the enhancements that help the Warlock along its way include 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler all-terrain tires, a raised ride height, front and rear Bilstein® shocks, and skid plates. At the same time, it’s hardly a spartan piece of equipment with ample legroom, a large standard infotainment display, and comfort features like remote starting capability.

Ram 1500 Laramie

Ram 1500 Laramie (4WD or 2WD)

Two different cab configurations available

Key Features

  • Starting at $61,480 MSRP*
  • 3.0L Hurricane Twin-Turbo engine
  • Up to 50 inches of digital display space available
  • Heated and ventilated leather-trimmed 10-way power front seats
  • Nine-speaker Alpine® audio system (19-speaker Harman Kardon® system available)
  • Four different appearance packages available

As nice as the Ram 1500’s base engine, a 3.6L Pentastar® V6, may be, the Laramie trim comes standard with an even nicer one: a 3.0L Hurricane Twin-Turbo that produces up to 420 horsepower and 469 LB-FT of torque. Its interior tech does everything it can to keep up with that notable upgrade, including an available 14.4-inch Uconnect® NAV display, an available 12-inch digital instrument cluster display, and an available 10.25-inch front passenger display. All told, the Laramie can offer more than 50 inches of combined digital displays, ensuring that you stay fully connected as you effortlessly log miles.

Ram 1500 Rebel

Ram 1500 Rebel (4WD only)

Key Features

  • Starting at $65,050 MSRP*

  • Electronic locking rear axle
  • Bilstein® front and rear shocks
  • Sport performance hood and tow hooks
  • Available G/T Package with performance-oriented features

While the Ram 1500 Warlock is a starting point for off-roading, the Rebel is a finishing point, suitable for true enthusiasts to make their own trail. It includes the best of everything, like a raised suspension and 9.7-inch ground clearance (10.7 inches available), along with Bilstein® front and rear shocks, an electronic locking rear axle, skid plates, hill descent control, and five drive modes. Need even more than that? The available G/T Package includes paddle shifters, a cold air intake system, and the performance-tuned G/T exhaust system. Either way, you’ll be ready for anything ahead.

Ram 1500 RHO

Ram 1500 RHO (4WD only)

Key Features

  • Starting at $73,795 MSRP*
  • High-output 3.0L Hurricane Twin Turbo I-6 engine
  • BorgWarner 48-13 full-time active transfer case
  • Dana® 60 rear axle
  • Available MagnaFlow® xMOD Cat-Black performance exhaust system
  • Available hands-free active driving assist

For most people, sports cars and pickup trucks are two distinct genres, with unique capabilities. Suffice it to say that anyone who believes that has never been behind the wheel of the Ram 1500 Rho. With more horsepower per dollar — 540 to be exact, from a high-output 3.0L Hurricane Twin Turbo I-6 engine — than any other premium off-road full-size pickup, the Rho is virtually untouchable, off or on the road. Its performance numbers certainly support that, including a 0-60 time of 4.6 seconds and a 0-100 time of 11.7 seconds. With many of the Rebel’s trail-ready features also standard here, the Rho can make a statement just about anywhere.

Ram 1500 Limited

Two different cab configurations available

Ram 1500 Limited (4WD only)

Key Features

  • Starting at $76,405 MSRP*
  • Available Uconnect® 5 NAV with a 14.4-inch touchscreen
  • 19-speaker Harman Kardon® premium audio system
  • Active-Level four corner air suspension system
  • Dual-zone automatic temperature control
  • Available dual wireless charging pad

Now, near the top of the Ram 1500 lineup, is where the best of performance and luxury start to merge in one vehicle. That massive 3.0L Hurricane Twin Turbo I-6 engine that is the source of the Rho’s powers remains standard here, but the Limited takes the added step of stuffing the cab with wood, leather, and metal trim, a gigantic Uconnect® infotainment system, as well as heated, ventilated, and massaging seating that adjusts in 12 different directions and includes memory functions. The available Ram 1500 Limited Night Edition Package enhances the effect with black accents throughout the vehicle, including the grille, exhaust, badges, and wheels.

Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn

Three different cab configurations available

Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn (4WD only)

Key Features

  • Starting at $76,900 MSRP*
  • Wood, leather, and metal-trimmed interior
  • Heated, ventilated, memory, and massaging 12-way power front seats
  • Power-deployable running boards and front tow hooks
  • Available 360-degree surround view camera
  • Chrome grille, front and rear bumpers, and door handles

The Limited Longhorn stands as something of a companion trim to the Limited. Both are similar high-end vehicles, pairing up very similarly when running down lists of what’s included in each. The primary differentiation is that the Limited Longhorn boasts an identity straight out of the old west, featuring genuine open-pore wood trim, saddle-brown or bison-brown leather, filigree stitched details, and laser-etched signature Longhorn badging on the console within its interior styling. It’s a vehicle that blends the past and present seamlessly, with the cowboy aesthetic offset by things like a 19-speaker Harman Kardon® audio system and an available 360-degree surround view camera.

Ram 1500 Tungsten

Ram 1500 Tungsten (4WD only)

Key Features

  • Starting at $88,800 MSRP*

  • Heated, ventilated, split-folding, and reclining rear seats

Are you the kind of person who refuses to compromise? The Ram 1500 Tungsten is built for you. Sitting at the top of the trim range, it includes the height of luxury for everyone in the five-foot, seven-inch crew cab with features like 24-way power heated, ventilated, and massaging seats for front row passengers, and a heated, ventilated bench for those in the rear, and a Klipsch Reference Premiere 23-speaker, 1,228-watt audio system for everyone. Under the hood, a beastly high-output 3.0L Hurricane Twin Turbo I-6 engine produces 540 horsepower and 521 LB-FT of torque to keep things moving quickly and smoothly.
